 Question Detail

Question ID# - 112

My boyfriend has been looking for a certain style shirt. I was wondering if you could help me to find where, who, or if you had one available? It looks like a Guyabera style shirt with the embroiderey on front but, he wants long sleeves? Does this exist? He saw something like it on the Smirnoff website. A guy is wearing a white one.

It is a guayabera shirt, still made in Puerto Rico, Cuba, Miami, Santo Domingo, and other places where this tropical men's shirt originated. The originals were made of cotton, or a fine linen, and in the Philippines of pineapple cloth. It was the shirt for a professional in the tropics that often replaced the shirt-and-tie-and-jacket uniform of the west.
