 I have seen a lot of snoods online in fun colors and think that wearing one would be a great solution for bad hair days. What are some ways I could wear a snood without looking like I should be at a renaissance fair?

Fun colors are the way to go...match a snood or two (wear two different colors at once) to your stockings, shoes or handbag. Update the look with a large brooch or a few sparkly vintage pins for extra bling. Hair guru Helen Oppenheim suggests pulling a few curls or layers of hair through the holes of the snood (in other words not a snood perfectly covering the hair,) creating a calculated but disheveled look...a much more modern approach to the whole look.
