Hi Janet, I recently purchased a mink stole from an antique store. It's a gem and I hope to give it to my daughter as a present. Unfortunately, it has a musty odor to it. How can I get rid of it ? Thanks so much! Dia from Chicago
Janet:
Try an old dealer's trick... place the stole in a hefty bag filled with cat litter to try to absorb the odor. Leave it there for at least a week and then hang it outdoors (not in direct sunlight)and brush well.
