Hello Fashion Diggers!
With the arrival of summer, we free our minds to drift to barbeques, beaches
and breezy evening walks. What better way to celebrate the season then with the
color that is summer
white.
Whether you are looking for a dress,
blouse,
skirt
or swimwear
cover-up, shopping at FashionDig will uncover a vintage prize that you
will adore for years to come.
Nothing beats the heat and says fashion versatility more than a white skirt.
Ellen
Christine Eclectic has a lovely Turn-of-the
Century white skirt that was worn at the time for a tennis game or polo
match. With todays freedom in fashion, this skirt with its front-button
openings and pockets in the front could be worn for day or evening. For a more
romantic look, this shop also offers a linen weave white skirt that has
16 flounce and would look smashing with a camisole or tee.
Show off your tan, with a white blouse. Curbside
Couture has a 60s
Hawaiian
shirt by IOILANI in pure white and adorned with a navy blue warrior and spear
design. Making A
Comeback is presently displaying one of the original
Gunnies, white blouses that made Gunne
Sax so famous in the 70s.
This crisp white blouse has a white detailed bibbed back collar with ribbon
accents, and a satin ribbon trim and scalloped lace on the cuffs.
Look stunning in a pure white dress with matching fringe sash. With a v-cut
neckline and set-in waist, this makes a sexy curve hugger find it at
AnniePanties.
Be inspired by the 50s
with a wiggle dress made famous by Marilyn
Monroe. Sunny M
has an ivory cotton lace over peach taffeta with jaunty notches in the scoop
neckline. Go MOD
with an adorable summer white pique shift that is embellished with a perky red
and white gingham daisy
from Mid
Century Chic.
After a dip in the pool, dry off in a cover-up.
Try a sophisticated white pique flock with mandarin collar and elaborate front
yoke design from Metro
Retro. A charming terry white playsuit with checkered gingham
trimming the neckline and armhole will really show off ones figure.
According to the poet Percy Bysshe Shelley, white
is the radiance of eternity. What better way to celebrate summer than with the
color that symbolizes time without beginning or end.

Ellen Christine
Eclectic:
Just added more pieces gleaned from the closet of Debbie Harry: some of her fun
dresses, c. 1950, 1960, 1970... come and see! Also, some exciting designer
pieces, Gucci, Narciso... and to top off the mix, Edwardian pieces, too!

Orlando
Vintage:
Have a hot date? Need that extra something? Orlando Vintage has posted a new
collection of vintage goodies. If your a guy, we have four new blazers in wine,
electric blue, military brown, and charcoal velvet to keep you looking sharp.
Girls, there are four new funky springtime skirts that will keep the guys heads
spinning. Keep your eyes out for some of our summer collection soon to come.

Sunny M:
Sunny M was thinking romance when adding 2 Gunne Sax Dresses (one Jessica, one
Scott) as well as a pair of panties from the Victorian era, known as
"Sally Split Drawers". The romance changed eras but did not stop with
a pair of dramatic early 50s evening gloves with lots of elegant beading. For
your summer looks, vibrant tropical jewelry was added too.
