A vintage
dress
is the fashion staple for summer and fall so we scoured the site for some of
our favorite looks. We found breezy summer frocks, crisp shirtwaists, fun
scooters, cute mini's, chic maxi's, sexy wiggle dresses, designer beauties and
much more! From Edwardian tea dresses to organza florals and silky caftans,
here are some of our favorite recent finds:
Turn
of the Century: Look for lavishly embroidered Edwardian tea dresses,
eyelet ice cream dresses and Edwardian all-in-ones.
1920s:
Look for floaty sundresses, drop-waist dresses and floral prints in generous
sizes.
1930s:
Find unique Art Deco print dresses, chic hand-knits and sexy bias-cut rayons.
1940s:
Check out the sophisticated rayon twill beauties, crisp pin-striped linens,
lace shirtwaists and sexy curve-hugging silk crepes.
1950s:
Look for Rockabilly, I Love Lucy and wiggle dresses as well as little black
dresses (check out the boatneck LBD) and perfect shirtwaists like the pink
polka-dot Anne
Fogarty in soft sateen cotton. Don't miss the atomic dominoes print
dress...perfect for LV.
1960s:
Find flower power prints, MOD scooter dresses, maxi Hippie dresses, and cute
mini's in paisley and geometric prints.
1970s:
