Hello Fashion Diggers...
Resort addicts (like us) love to add
vintage pieces from
Pulitzer,
Pucci and
Shaheen
to their travel wardrobes. From island hopping escapades to country club events
and poolside flirtations... here's some PPS that will get you through in style!
Country club aficionados should checkout the Lilly Pulitzer little wrap skirts,
sleeveless shifts and capri pants in classic floral and garden prints, the
unusual white Lilly shift with appliques (great on a tan bod) and pretty 50s
sundress in tropical flower print in candy pink, periwinkle blue and custard
yellow colors... Flirting is easy (you don't even have to try!) when you're
wearing Pucci. Get noticed in oversized Pucci sunglasses, wrap a bold graphic
silk Pucci scarf around your head, wear a pair of Pucci tap pants as a poolside
cover-up and add a Pucci halter top to hot pants and strappy sandals for a sexy
beach party look....Looking chic while lounging in the islands is simple when
you're wearing an Alfred Shaheen design. Known as the Master Printer of Hawaii,
his clothes are hand-printed and highly collectible. Checkout the rare, early
50s barkcloth sheath with gorgeous palm tree print throughout the center, the
Maharani set of full-length tunic and Palazzo pants in Indian Princess print,
the long cotton gingham skirt with hand-painted butterfly and floral design and
the 1969 Shaheen dress pattern in mint, uncut condition...use vintage barkcloth
with this pattern please!
