| Description: This unique item, circa 1937, is a long sleeved short jacket made from black seal fur. It is lined in a black satin-like fabric and fastens at the chest with yellow lucite hand-carved flowers on each side. Attached to each lucite flower is black bakelite which hold the metal hooks that hook the garment closed. This item can be very elegant, but can be worn casual as well. It is interesting in detail because of the hand carved lucite and the way the jacket fastens together. |
