| Description: This one is for the boys! Circa 1940s, the concept looks supportive of the war efforts. The navy blue associates with the Navy, along with the sailor cut of the collar. The buttons are patriotic with the gold stars. The fabric is sturdy virgin wool, and the lining is polyester. The label says ''Fishmans broad street elizabeth'' and there is fabric tag in the dress. The collar and slightly belled sleeves have a red trim sewn under the navy. The buttons open the front of the dress completely. There are two straps attached at the waist meant to button together like a belt, but the left button is missing. There are also small holes in the back of the dress toward the hem, and on the right breast. On the red trim in the back of the collar is also a small hole. The garment is still wearable, although the holes on the breast are noticeable. Nonetheless, this dress is truly inspirational design wise. |
