Shop Name: Orlando Vintage
Circa: 1950s
Description: This spectator dress is great for everyday use. The fabric is a woven cotton or a linen cotton blend. One and a half inch red and black lines run vertically, while the horizontal pattern repeats red, black, grey, and olive. The black collar is connected to the wide lapels that sweep all the way down to the six large flat black buttons. All the buttons come undone to open the dress completely like a coat. The fabric is folded 5.5 inches in where the buttons and holes are. On the back of the dress, a ''T'' shaped piece of fabric is overlain creating a cross-diagonal pattern over the horizontal/vertical pattern. The dress is gathered to the ''T'' fabric at the shoulder blades, as well as the collar bone, hidden by the collar. At the bottom of the ''T'' are four black buttons. The dress hem is multiple fold fabric 2 inches wide. This distributes weight to the bottom of the dress to assure it won't fly up on windy days! The label reads ''Pat Hartly Original''
