| Description: This 30's bakelite hat pin will give any hat that extra panache. The top of this hat pin is red marbleized bakelite that has swirls running through it. The shape is a 3/4's circular piece with a flat bottom. The top of this piece has a scalloped design with inserted carving that gives the appearance of floral petals. To complete the design is a carved arc and underneath the arc are five carved indented shapes that look like watermelon seeds. On the back of the top you will find three areas where there are holes and minor chips. They are caused by the insertion of the pin itself. The pin is black with a silver metal based underneath. |

Whole length of hat pin is 7 1/2'', the pin is 5 1/2'' and the bakelite length is 2'' and the width is 2 1/2''.
