Shop Name: Metro Retro
Circa: 1950s
Description: Oh so ladlike. This navy and white speaks spring and sophistication. A white collar that has a button and loop for closure accents a navy blue jacket. An oval blue strip of fabric outlined in white fabric and has 3 white buttons on it adorns the jacket. This same wonderful detail is repeated in the front of the skirt above one of the pockets to achieve an asymmetrical design for the suit. The other side of the skirt has a pocket but no decoration upon it. The pockets are located 3 1/2'' down from the waist which has a hidden zipper and a button for closure. The back has 2 darts from the waist and a 3'' folded pleat can be found in the center to allow for movement when walking. Two darts can be found on the front and back by the shoulders of the jacket, and the sleeves are 3/4. The material is a cotton/poly blend. This elegant vintage find is in excellent condition, the jacket would look adorable with white jeans.
