| Description: A sophisicated black straw hat has a wide brim and crown to create drama. Surrounding the lower crown are two layers of bands. The lower band is a rich deep red velvet (the best photo to see this color is the close-up I took of the band) and right above it one will find a black crochet lace one. Attached at the left side, one will find a bouquet of a high quality black feathers wrapped in a red felt holder. The label in the hat says designed by Laura. The hat is in excellent condition except a small section of the feather bouquet is missing a section which would probably not be noticed by others when worn (see attached photo). Price has been adjusted for this imprefection. This was a an expensive hat in its day, and works well for the warmer months but can easily be worn in the fall. |
