| Description: Designed by Evelyn Margolis for Hilo Hattie's in the 70's, this stylish floral Hawaiian garment works well as a swimsuit cover-up, tunic or as a mini dress with leggings. The focus is on bold hibicuses in shades of yellows, reds, oranges and accented with white. The textile has a rich watercolor quality to it. This sleeveless flock has a pretty jeweled collar. Ruffles have been placed a few inches down from the shoulders. The collar and neckline could be opened or closed using gold metal stud closures that trail down the center front. The hem has a perky ruffle that arcs into a semicircle in the front and back and creates sexy slits on the sides. In the center back, one will find an inverted pleating which finishes off the look beautifully. The material is a very soft poly blend that has the appearance of silk. This tropical delight is in mint condition. |
