| Description: Black and white enamel stripes are outlined in gold metal and descend to form two petals for this exotic flower pin. The smaller petal has been placed on top of the larger outer one to create a wonderful 3-D effect (screws have been used in the construction). The center of this unusual floral has a gold teardrop form that sits on top of the inner petal. The back displays a gold strands design that has been engraved into the gold metal. The construction of this brooch reveals that this is a designer piece that lacks the stamping of the name. My best guess would be Boucher. By a fe of the edges, the enamel has been chipped off but this would noticed be noticed when worn. The price does reflect this fact. |
