| Description: This 40's sailor pin 40's is a rare find. Created during World War II, this whimiscal pin has a sailor in navy blue and beige holding a rope and dressed in the classical sailor top with bow and billowing sleeves. The back of the pin is completely navy, and going down the back of the spine a special box and opening has been created to place a safety pin in for closure. During war time, supplies were scarce and many pieceds of jewelry were make shift. The condition is mint, and it is made from a plastic resin. |
