Shop Name: Orlando Vintage
Circa: 1940s
Description: One can't deny the incredible detail and shape of this chic navy blue suit. The jacket with a wide collar, tapered waist, flaired hip, and form-fitting seams down the front and back is the epitome of 1940s sophistication. This is one suit that refuses to be bland, because it features material-covered buttons with rhinestone centers - three down the middle and one over each hip pocket. We speculate the material to be a wool blend, and the lining is a dark navy crepe. The A-line skirt is fastened in the back with a navy blue button and zipper, and it has a few small ''moth holes'' near the bottom in the back which aren't very noticeable. This piece would be perfect for any professional event, though the rhinestones and complimenting lines of the suit give it a formal and dressy appeal, as well.
