| Description: The coat style top is an astoundingly sophisticated feature of this Bill Blass dress. The mandarin collar has a series of snaps around the seams, and the double-breasted buttons open the top half entirely. There is a militant heir about the box-shape top, geniously complemented by the ribbon that cinches the waist. The ribbon runs through an opening from the right side, and is supported by a snap button underneath it on the left side. There is only the designer tag in the dress, so the fabric is a mystery as far as truly knowing. But it feels like woven polyester. The dress hangs quite lightly off the body compared to its sturdy appearance. The dress is fully-lined with smooth silk/acetate fabric, and it has slit pockets on the hips lined with the same fabric. The condition is superb, as was previously owned by Donna Karan's mother-in-law Hilda Weiss.
