| Description: This navy rayon evening dress, circa 1940s, features incredible shape and elegance. The first thing one notices about this dress is the gorgeous high collar, which is adorned with silver beads and rhinestones that are sewn together in a swirling band pattern. Underneath the beaded collar is a keyhole neckline that measures down five-inches. The long sleeves fasten at the wrists with two snaps each. There are also two darts sewn on each side from the waistline to the bust. The back of the dress showcases another unique detail: a starburst dart design on each hip to help create a womanly shape. The hips flow down into a full skirt that has incredible shape and movement. The dress zips up the back for a formed fit. What a find! |
