| Description: Fabulous vintage porcelain vase manufactured by Thomas, a subsidiary of Rosenthal. The vase is a white ribbed porcelain with applied gold design at the area where the vase pinches in. Victor Vasarely created various designs for Rosenthal but I am not aware of any designs that were done by Vasarely for Thomas. This vase, however, has a striking half-moon op design that certainly is reminiscent of the Vasarely designs for Rosenthal. The condition of the vase is excellent. There are no chips or cracks, and the applied gold design has no wear. |
